Introduction to Scratch
What is Scratch?
Scratch is a free graphical programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab. It uses different building blocks that the user can drag and drop to combine code blocks to make a programs. There is online community where anyone share their creations with others around the world.
Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration; and equity in computing. it also help to learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. As students design Scratch projects, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.
Scratch is built for everyone, including beginners and more advanced users.
